Body Composition & Vitals Check
A complete snapshot of your health, beyond the scale
This check gives you a clear, all-round snapshot of your physical health in a single appointment. It combines standard vital sign measurements with a detailed body composition analysis, going well beyond a simple weight check to show what your body is actually made of. It is a useful way to establish your baseline, track changes over time, and catch potential issues early.
Vital signs
A set of core measurements that reflect how your body is functioning day to day:
- Blood pressure (systolic and diastolic)
- Pulse rate
- Blood oxygen (SpO2)
- Body temperature
Body measurements
- Height and weight
- Body Mass Index (BMI), a widely used measure of whether your weight is in a healthy range for your height
Body composition
A breakdown of what makes up your body weight, giving far more insight than the number on the scale alone:
- Body fat percentage and fat weight
- Visceral fat, the fat stored around your internal organs
- Muscle mass
- Bone mass
- Total body water
- Basal metabolic rate (BMR), the energy your body uses at rest
Why it matters
Tracking these measurements together helps you:
- Understand your overall health at a glance, beyond just your weight
- Set realistic fitness and weight goals based on your actual body composition
- Monitor progress as you make changes to diet, exercise, or lifestyle
- Spot early warning signs, such as raised blood pressure or high visceral fat, that may need attention
