The profile covers blood group and rhesus typing, haemoglobin electrophoresis to identify sickle cell and beta thalassaemia carrier status, diabetes screening via HbA1c, and screening for HIV, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, syphilis and rubella immunity. A full blood count and a set of vital signs complete the picture, providing a broad snapshot of your current physical health. An optional drug of abuse screen is available for those who require it.
