Rheumatoid Factor Blood Test (RF)

Rheumatoid factor (RF) is an autoantibody that targets the body's own immunoglobulins, and its presence in the blood can indicate an autoimmune process at work. This test is used to support the investigation of rheumatoid arthritis and other autoimmune conditions, particularly when patients present with persistent joint pain, swelling, stiffness, or unexplained systemic inflammation.
