Vitamin E (Tocopherol)

This test measures the level of vitamin E (tocopherol) in your blood, giving a clear picture of your body's antioxidant status. Vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin that protects your cells from oxidative stress, supports immune function, and helps keep your blood vessels and skin healthy. It is particularly useful if you have symptoms of deficiency such as muscle weakness, vision problems, or numbness, or if you have a condition that affects fat absorption, such as cystic fibrosis, coeliac disease, or chronic pancreatitis.
